Five Super Bowls have been held in Tampa
The NFL has announced the dates for the next five Super Bowls. Tampa will host Super Bowl LV on February 7, 2021. Tampa previously hosted Super Bowls LIII and LIV in February 2006 and 2007. In between, Tampa hosted two playoff games and two championships. Super Bowl XVIII was a shootout between the New York Giants and Los Angeles Raiders. The first Super Bowl in Tampa was held in 1977, which was the first ever broadcast of an Apple Macintosh advertisement.
